The people who succeed here are the ones who get in front of customers, build trust face to face, and stay close to their accounts.</p><p></p><p><u>Travel is part of the job (typically 30–50%), and a <b>West Coast</b> home base is strongly preferred.</u></p><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Be Responsible For: </b></p><p></p><p><b>Owning and growing your territory</b></p><ul><li><p>Take full ownership of your accounts and your number</p></li><li><p>Drive both new business and expansion within existing customers</p></li><li><p>Grow and retain your book of business while identifying expansion opportunities</p></li></ul><p><b>Leading complex, high-impact deals</b></p><ul><li><p>Run opportunities from first conversation through contract</p></li><li><p>Navigate multi-stakeholder environments including executives, operations, finance, procurement, and public sector stakeholders</p></li></ul><p><b>Managing renewals and long-term value</b></p><ul><li><p>Own the renewal process across your accounts and ensure contracts are proactively managed</p></li><li><p>Engage customers early to align on value, scope, and future needs</p></li><li><p>Identify opportunities to expand agreements and deepen partnerships over time</p></li></ul><p><b>Building lasting customer relationships</b></p><ul><li><p>Develop strong, trusted relationships across your accounts</p></li><li><p>Understand what success looks like for your customers and align solutions to their goals</p></li></ul><p><b>Creating and managing pipeline</b></p><ul><li><p>Build a healthy pipeline through thoughtful, proactive outreach</p></li><li><p>Stay on top of your deals with clear next steps and strong follow-through</p></li></ul><p><b>Staying close to the field</b></p><ul><li><p>Travel regularly to meet customers in person</p></li><li><p>Use in-person meetings to advance active opportunities and strengthen account plans</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we are looking for:</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Must-have </b>8+ years of B2B software or SaaS sales experience</p></li><li><p>Ownership mindset: you run your territory like a business and consistently deliver against a number.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Proven enterprise closing experience on complex deals (typically $100K+) with multiple stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Ability to create pipeline proactively and maintain strong next-step discipline throughout the cycle.</p></li><li><p>Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and navigating structured procurement/buying processes.</p></li><li><p>Technical fluency to translate product capabilities into business value for diverse audiences.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Comfort working through longer sales cycles and structured buying processes</p></li><li><p>A consistent track record of closing complex, high-value deals (typically $100K+)</p></li><li><p>Experience owning the full sales cycle end to end</p></li><li><p>Comfort working through longer sales cycles and structured buying processes</p></li><li><p>Strong collaboration and internal coordination across product, delivery, and customer teams</p></li><li><p>Experience selling into transit agencies, government, or other public sector organizations is a strong plus.
