You will get a front-row seat in the facilitating, fast-paced and impactful world of venture capital and private markets and will have the opportunity for an exciting mix of tactical and strategic work as we look to rapidly expand our playbook, team and business.</p> <h3>What You'll Do</h3> <ul> <li>Build and drive new business opportunities for selling Standard Metrics’ software within assigned territory</li> <li>Develop a deep understanding of, and effectively articulate, the Standard Metrics offering and value proposition in the market</li> <li>Manage opportunities through the sales cycle from initial inquiry to forecasted pipeline to deal design and close</li> <li>Develop and implement a sales strategy within assigned territory and/or targeted list of customers, while meeting quarterly and annual revenue targets</li> <li>Provide continuous updates on all active accounts and report on sales activities on a regular basis</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Product to deliver customer feedback on our product</li> <li>Collaborate with Solutions Architects, SDRs, and the Customer Success team on projects and initiatives</li> <li>Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and reference-ability</li> <li>Travel for client visits, conferences and networking events</li> </ul> <h3>What You'll Bring</h3> <ul> <li>2+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience. Experience with Private Markets firms, Venture Capital, or Private Equity is a plus</li> <li>Full-cycle sales experience and ability to navigate the complexities of mid-market deals</li> <li>Strong track record of closing new business</li> <li>Experience selling into CFO and/or COO personas</li> <li>Excellent negotiation, analytical, financial and organizational capabilities</li> <li>Ability to work at both a tactical and strategic level</li> <li>High emotional intelligence, empathy and curiosity</li> </ul> <p><em>For our employees located in the USA, we aim to pay at or above the market rate of US-based tech hubs like San Francisco or NYC. For international roles, we aim to pay top of market for your country. The estimated annual salary and variable compensation for this role is between $200,000-$230,000, plus a competitive equity package.
