Come be a part of our team and shape a better future. </p> <p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p> <p>We are seeking an experienced Agent and Broker Product Owner to support a government program focused on delivering secure, scalable, and user-centered digital solutions for the Agent and Broker (AB) ecosystem. This role is responsible for driving product vision, managing priorities, and ensuring successful delivery of enhancements and features aligned to mission and regulatory requirements.</p> <p>The Product Owner will act as a key bridge between the business units performing workflows in support of the AB ecosystem and the technical delivery team who will be building tools to support the current workflows, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and executed effectively within an agile environment.</p> <p></p> <p></p><p><br></p><b>Key Responsibilites </b><div> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary Product Owner for Agent and Broker (AB) digital products and tools. </li> <li>Act as the primary liaison between the development team and the AB business team, ensuring clear communication of priorities, requirements, and delivery expectations.</li> <li>Provide client engagement support participating in stakeholder meetings, demos, and planning sessions.</li> <li>Manage and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, user needs, and compliance requirements.</li> <li>Be fully dedicated to AB solution refinement, continuously shaping, refining, and clarifying requirements for development readiness.</li> <li>Define, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring user stories are well-groomed, clearly defined, and actionable.</li> <li>Translate business and regulatory requirements into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with engineering, UX/UI, QA, and DevSecOps teams to ensure successful and timely delivery of capabilities.</li> <li>Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives in conjunction with the scrum master.</li> <li>Ensure product decisions align with federal compliance standards, including security (e.g., NIST), privacy, and accessibility (Section 508).</li> <li>Monitor product performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and informed prioritization.</li> <li>Support release planning, deployment readiness, and stakeholder communication for product increments. </li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><b>Minimum Requirements</b><div> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li> <li>8+ years of experience in product management or product ownership roles.</li> <li>At least 5+ years of experience in insurance, financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience working on agent and broker platforms, portals, or marketplace ecosystems.</li> <li>Proven experience supporting government or federal IT contracting environments.</li> <li>Strong experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps, and Agile delivery processes.</li> <li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.</li> <li>Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.</li> <li>Strong analytical thinking and decision-making capability.</li> <li>Proven ability to lead through influence and collaboration.</li> <li>Comfortable engaging directly with senior stakeholders and technical teams.</li> <li>Experience writing detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.</li> <li>Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, and enterprise digital platforms.</li> <li>Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum required; SAFe preferred).</li> <li>US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. </li> <li>Must reside in the Continental US.</li> <li>Depending on the government agency, specific requirements may include public trust background check or security clearance.</li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><b>Preferred Qualifications </b><div> <ul> <li>Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification.</li> <li>Experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).</li> <li>Prior experience modernizing legacy systems into digital self-service platforms.</li> <li>Familiarity with identity management, authentication, and authorization systems in broker/agent ecosystems.</li> <li>Experience working in large-scale, multi-team federal programs. </li> <li>Qualified individuals living in HUBZone-certified areas are strongly encouraged to apply.
