Hiring: AI Video Editor Lead / Performance Videographer

Position Overview

Are You a Performance-Driven Video Editor Who Knows How to Turn Creative Into Conversions? If you think in hooks, pacing, and paid social performance, and you're already leveraging AI video tools to produce faster, smarter creative, this role is for you.

At Organics Ocean, we're looking for an AI-native Video Editor Lead/ Performance Videographer who will help scale high-volume direct response creative. This role exists to solve a key business need: increasing creative output, improving execution speed, and reducing revision cycles while elevating the quality of edits through advanced AI workflows.

This is a production-first role focused primarily on editing, post-production, and AI-enhanced creative, not traditional filming.

You will work closely with Creative, Growth, and Marketing partners to deliver performance-focused assets that directly impact campaign velocity.

Responsibilities
Direct Response Video Editing

  • Produce high-quality paid social performance creatives
  • Execute UGC edits, AI creative, AI UGC, mini-VSL, and VSL formats
  • Optimize pacing, hooks, and CTAs for conversion
  • Deliver high output with minimal revision cycles
AI Video Workflow Integration
  • Use AI tools to accelerate production and improve quality
  • Create both AI-forward and AI-assisted realistic creatives
  • Continuously test new AI workflows to improve performance
Creative Collaboration
  • Partner with Creative Strategy to execute briefs
  • Attend creative meetings to reduce revision loops
  • Align closely with Creative leadership on feedback
Production & Workflow Support
  • Act as a point of contact between Creative Lead and external editors
  • Help disseminate process updates and feedback to contractors
  • Support operational efficiency and creative throughput
Team Lead
  • Player/coach role assisting co-workers with training and project completion/assignments as an individual contributor or peer contributor
Filming (Secondary Responsibility)
  • Occasional product shots or B-roll when needed
What success looks like

First 90 Days
  • Fully ramp into Rain Media's performance creative workflow and AI editing stack
  • Deliver consistent weekly output aligned to creative briefs and paid social requirements
  • Demonstrate proficiency using required AI tools within real production workflows
  • Reduce revision cycles by actively participating in creative meetings and feedback loops
  • Establish clear collaboration rhythms with Creative leadership and external editors
  • Begin contributing process improvements that increase speed and execution quality
In 12 months:
  • Consistently deliver 15-20 high-performing creatives per week with strong execution speed
  • Become a key leverage point for creative production, supporting communication with external editors and improving workflow efficiency
  • Elevate overall creative quality through advanced AI integration and experimentation
  • Maintain a standard of 1 revision cycle between strategy and editing whenever possible
  • Help scale creative volume without sacrificing performance or brand quality
  • Contribute to evolving Rain Media's AI-first creative production framework
Requirements
  • 2 yrs+ of proven experience editing direct response performance creatives for paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc. )
  • Strong understanding of conversion-focused editing, including hooks, pacing, storytelling, and call-to-action structure
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-volume creative output in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment
  • Hands-on experience using AI video generation and enhancement tools within production workflows
  • Proficiency with core editing platforms such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of creative design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or Figma
  • Experience collaborating closely with creative strategists, growth teams, or performance marketing teams
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs and execute with minimal revision cycles
  • Strong communication skills and comfort participating in real-time feedback sessions
  • Ability to manage multiple creative experiments simultaneously while maintaining speed and quality
