Airport Customer Experience Specialist

<h2><span style="color: #000000">Duties & Responsibilities</span></h2> <ul> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Maintain high visibility in assigned airport terminals and adjacent areas to maximize engagement with travelers and continually offer greetings, information, and directions</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Proactively assist travelers with navigating the airport layout and provide directions to transportation, destinations, and other requested information using company issued iPads</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Assist persons with disabilities including those in wheelchairs or other mobility devices in a kind, courteous, and customer-facing manner</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Communicate knowledge of transportation options including taxis, ride share, parking, rental cars, and public transportation to travelers</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Actively report unwanted behaviors such as soliciting, smoking, loitering, disorderly conduct, and unsafe conditions to management and airport police via established communication methods</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Serve as a visible uniformed deterrent while circulating through assigned terminals to deter unwanted activity</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Respond to emergency situations following established protocol</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Report all activities and metrics through usage of smart devices including iPad, phone, and radio</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Maintain a friendly and positive environment in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Perform additional duties as assigned</li> </ul> <h2><span style="color: #000000">Qualifications</span></h2> <ul> <li>Must have at least 1 year of experience in hospitality or customer service</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Must be at least 18 years old</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to speak, read, and write English fluently — additional language skills are a plus</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Must have the physical capacity to stand and walk continuously during 8 to 10 hour shifts</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Must be able to work in all weather conditions with provided inclement weather gear</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Must be available to work 24/7 including weekends and holidays</li> </ul> <h2><span style="color: #000000">Benefits</span></h2> <ul> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Full-Time and Part-Time positions available</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Disability Insurance</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Paid Time Off</li> <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Bonuses</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #000000">At Council for Airport Opportunity, we provide a fair and equal employment opportunity for all applicants and candidates regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, marital status, disability, or any other legally protected characteristic.</span></p>
