Job Details

Pay & Benefits - We offer competitive wages and some of the strongest paid benefits available in the market. Compensation package includes:

  • Base Wage - $19.75 per hour (plus guaranteed Annual Increases)
  • Paid Health Insurance - employer paid at $5.38/hr ($923.87/mo)
  • Paid Pension - employer paid at $1.30/hour ($216.67/mo)
  • Paid Holidays - unworked paid at a straight time; worked paid at 2.5x times
  • Paid Personal Days Off - 4 annually
  • Paid Vacation - 5-25 days annually, based on seniority

Responsibilities

  • Deter and report unauthorized personnel or vehicular entry into facilities and airfield access points
  • Deter and report damage, pilferage, removal, destruction, secreting, misappropriation, misuse, larceny and disposition of client property.
  • Prevent the occurrence of fires, explosions, collapses and other catastrophes.
  • Safeguard personnel, deter the commission of crimes against persons, summon the appropriate response forces and assist those response forces as requested or required.
  • Deter and report observed violations of client regulations and enforce parking regulations as required.
  • Screen vendor goods entering secured terminal areas, and to control access through these checkpoints on a 24/7 basis.
  • Protect, and properly handle, security-related information (including, but not necessarily limited to, Sensitive Security Information)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Must hold a current, valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) from the State of Illinois
  • Successfully complete a fingerprint-based criminal history record check (CHRC)
  • Pass both initial and random drug screening, professionally administered
  • Must be a US citizen or a Permanent Resident with 5 years US Residence
