Amazon Packages Delivery Driver

Job description Patriot Freight is a Veteran Owned delivery company and an Amazon Delivery Service Partner. Let's get to the point:

Show me the money, boss!

  • Base pay is $22.25 per hour/ Opportunity to make even more $$$ after bonuses & over time
  • Overtime starts at $33.38/hr – all work that is over 40hrs/wk turns into overtime pay
  • Free Work Shoes Program - $125.00 credit for new kicks!
  • Consistent work that is typically 9-10 hrs/day
  • But wait, there is more!
  • Bi-Weekly pay via Direct Deposit – no more bank runs
  • 10 days Paid Training – 2 days in class and 8 days in training routes
  • Full and Part-Time opportunities available
  • Insurance – Health, vision, dental, accidental death is available to full time employees. Company pays portion of your health insurance, making it more affordable
  • Company Holidays include 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day giving you the time to spend with your family and loved ones
  • Paid Time Off – Full time drivers get 2 weeks+ of PTO each year (PTO hours are based on hours worked)
  • Meal and rest breaks provided to all drivers (we also let you manage your breaks!)

Now boss wants me to do what? Requirements:

  • Arrive on time as scheduled.
  • Load delivery vehicle every morning (250+ packages)
  • Utilize GPS on company provided smartphone to navigate to make each delivery a success
  • Drive the company vehicle safely, provide great customer service
  • Deliver all packages to our customers (businesses and residential customers)
  • (Other work things and stuff!)
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (don’t worry – most packages are lighter than that!)
  • Must be able to get in and out of a van frequently - 190+ stops (in all types of weather)
  • Must be able to safely drive a high-roof van in rural, suburban and city areas
  • Must be available to work weekends and all scheduled days
