Sr. Finance Analyst The Opportunity As a member of the Finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in delivering high‑quality financial analysis, reporting, and insights to support sound decision‑making. This role partners closely with Operations, Commercial, and Finance leaders to analyze performance, identify trends, challenge assumptions, and support planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes within a manufacturing and consumer packaged goods environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, analyze, and communicate financial and operational performance results, including variance analysis and trend identification.

Support monthly close, forecasting, annual budgeting, and long‑range planning processes.

Consolidate and validate financial submissions, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.

Partner with cross‑functional teams to translate business drivers into financial insights and actionable recommendations.

Support continuous improvement initiatives through analytics, process reviews, and special projects.

Prepare management commentary, presentations, and ad hoc analyses for senior leadership.

Contribute to the enhancement of reporting tools, financial processes, and systems, including future ERP or analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, or FP&A, preferably within a manufacturing or CPG environment.

Professional accounting designation (CPA) or progress toward designation strongly preferred.

Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem‑solving skills with a continuous‑improvement mindset.

Experience with ERP systems or transactional databases; knowledge of ERP environments is preferred, SAP experience is an asset but not required.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.

Well‑organized, results‑oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Comfortable operating in a manufacturing or operations‑focused setting.
