Perform insurance verification and prior authorization processes for genetic tests to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement. Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to obtain necessary documents and approvals. Conduct thorough research and analysis of insurance policies and guidelines to determine coverage and reimbursement requirements. Communicate effectively with internal teams, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to resolve any issues or discrepancies. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all insurance verification and authorization activities. Monitor and track prior authorization status and provide updates to relevant parties. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the prior authorization process. Stay up-to-date on industry changes and regulations related to insurance verification and prior authorizations. Assist with training and mentoring of new team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate billing and reimbursement. Work closely with revenue cycle management team to identify and resolve any billing or reimbursement issues. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
