This project supports the worldwide assessment to measure English language proficiency for adults whose primary language is not English. If you are a college graduate seeking temporary work, we invite you to join our team and score standardized assessments from the comfort of your home! </span></p><p style="margin-left: 0px;"><span data-teams="true" style="font-size: inherit;"><strong>About the Role:</strong> </span></p><p style="margin-left: 0px;"><span data-teams="true" style="font-size: inherit;">As a Professional Scorer for the PTEA OP, you will evaluate challenging written responses that are based on a stringent set of rubrics. The majority of responses on this assessment are scored by an artificial intelligence system; however, you will be tasked with scoring outlier responses that could not be assessed by the AI. These responses may not closely align with the prompts, requiring you to make nuanced scoring decisions. </span></p><p style="margin-left: 0px;"><span data-teams="true" style="font-size: inherit;"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong> </span></p><ul><li><span data-teams="true" style="font-size: inherit;">Evaluate student responses to open-ended questions reliably and score according to the provided scoring guide. </span></li><li><span data-teams="true" style="font-size: inherit;">Successfully internalize training materials and the customer scoring guide. </span></li><li><span data-teams="true" style="font-size: inherit;">Pass a qualifying test before beginning scoring. </span></li><li><span data-teams="true" style="font-size: inherit;">Apply the scoring guide without personal bias, adhering strictly to customer requirements. </span></li><li><span data-teams="true" style="font-size: inherit;"><strong>Flexible Working Hours:</strong> This position offers flexible working hours, available 24/7, with a minimum requirement of 20 hours per week and a maximum of 40 hours per week. You have the freedom to choose your schedule within these parameters. </span></li></ul><p style="margin-left: 0px;"><span data-teams="true" style="font-size: inherit;"><strong>Qualifications:</strong> </span></p><p style="margin-left: 0px;"><span data-teams="true" style="font-size: inherit;">We are seeking qualified candidates to join our scoring team.
