<p><b>Salary Range:</b></p>$78,000.00 - $102,000.00<p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>What's the role? </b></p><p><br/>We are looking for a meticulous, eager-to-learn Audience Operations Analyst to join our marketing systems team! As our dedicated audience ops specialist, you will be the hands-on-keyboard authority responsible for crafting, maintaining, and implementing marketing audience segments across Etsy's internal systems, third-party ad platforms, and Data Cleanrooms. You will partner closely with marketing analysts to ensure campaigns are fueled by accurate, timely, and compliant data. This is a great opportunity to become a domain expert in marketing technology operations and digital audience execution.</p><p><br/>This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Performance Media. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy.</p><p><br/>This role requires your presence in Etsys Brooklyn Office once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. Learn more details about our work modes and workplace safety policies .</p><p><br/><b>Whats this team like at Etsy?</b></p><p><br/>The Brand Marketing team helps buyers discover what makes Etsy special, fueling Etsys growth via audience-centric storytelling and media placements, bringing the right message to the right audience, at the right moment. We collaborate closely and partner with teams such as Analytics, Product, and Engineering in order to automate and optimize global offsite experiences and programs at scale.</p><p><br/><b>What does the day-to-day look like?</b></p><ul><li><b>Audience Creation & Implementation:</b> Build, configure, and push audience lists across internal databases, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), and 3rd-party ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, TikTok).</li><li><b>Data Cleanroom Operations:</b> Assist in the tactical execution and audience sharing workflows within Data Cleanrooms (such as Google Ads Data Hub, LiveRamp, etc.), ensuring privacy-safe data connections are accurately set up.</li><li><b>Cross-Functional Partnership:</b> Work closely on a day-to-day basis with marketing analysts and channel managers. Understand their campaign goals to pull and implement the exact right audience segments needed to drive success.</li><li><b>Audiences Authority:</b> Become the go-to operational expert on how our audience platforms work. Stay up-to-date on platform UI changes, upload requirements, and standard methodologies for list formatting and deployment.</li><li><b>Maintenance, Monitoring & QA:</b> Actively supervise the health of our audience segments. Keep an eye on match rates, audience sizes, and refresh schedules. Perform detailed Quality Assurance to ensure lists are accurate before campaigns launch, and troubleshoot basic sync errors.</li><li>Of course, this is just a sample of the kinds of work this role will require! You should assume that your role will encompass other tasks, too, and that your job duties and responsibilities may change from time to time at Etsys discretion, or otherwise applicable with local law.</li></ul><p><br/><b>Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:</b></p><ul><li>0-2 yearsof professional experience, which can include relevant internships in marketing operations, digital marketing, engineering, or data analytics.</li><li><b>Platform Familiarity:</b> Experience with, digital ad platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads) and/or CRM systems.</li><li><b>Data Cleanrooms & CDPs:</b> Familiarity with the concepts of Data Cleanrooms and Customer Data Platforms, with a strong eagerness to learn how to operate them technically.</li><li><b>Data Handling:</b> Comfort working with large datasets in Excel or Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables). Basic knowledge of SQL is plus, or a strong willingness to learn on the job.</li><li><b>Extreme Attention to Detail:</b> You take pride in precision and double-checking your work.
