AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

Scholfield Honda is looking for experienced Automotive Technicians to maintain and repair vehicles in our automotive repair shop. You will perform service and maintenance on Hondas and other Vehicle makes.

Our service team includes some of the most experienced and skilled shop foremen and mechanics in the area and is looking to add great technicians to the team. You will work alongside and receive guidance from our shop Foreman, the winner of Honda's National Top Tech Competition! This experience will allow you to learn from THE BEST in the industry and gain valuable insight and knowledge. Honda factory training is provided. No Sundays or holiday work hours. Job Duties

  • Responsible for diagnosing and completing repairs on customer vehicles
  • Maintains up-to-date technical knowledge of all vehicles
  • Works closely with the Parts Department and with the Service Advisor
  • Uses the computer to determine how long a given repair or service will take
  • Communicates with Service Advisor or team leader about repair progress so that additional work may be scheduled
  • Performs complicated repair sequences according to established procedures
  • Writes detailed work orders for repairs completed, the parts required, and the labor to be charged
  • Documents any other vehicle problems that were noted during servicing

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
  • Completion of drug and background screening
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Minimum 1-year experience in automotive service, maintenance, and repair (If you don’t have experience talk to us about our entry-level openings)
