Description:

  • Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to meet production and program needs.
  • Maintain day-to-day supplier relationships and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing.
  • Expedite orders and quickly resolve supply chain disruptions, delivery delays, and quality issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, program, finance, and other stakeholders to align procurement with company goals.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, track KPIs, and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Support sourcing strategy development and implementation for direct commodities and categories.
  • Document and report supplier performance and participate in daily, weekly, and monthly review processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for cost savings, quality improvement, and on-time delivery.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of technical procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams across functions and borders.
  • Good understanding and interpretation of related design specifications.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in procure-to-pay processes is preferred.
