<p><strong>Canada Contract and Proposals Team Manager</strong></p><p><br></p><p>French/English Speaking/writting Required</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Contract Management (Cradle-to-Grave)</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and oversee the full contract lifecycle across all Canadian provinces, including:</li><li>Intake, assessment, and contract strategy development</li><li>Drafting, redlining, and negotiation of contracts</li><li>Risk identification, mitigation, and escalation</li><li>Alignment with legal, compliance, and business stakeholders</li><li>Contract execution, documentation, and record management</li><li>Post-award administration, amendments, renewals, and closeout</li><li>Ensure all contracts comply with applicable provincial laws, regulations, and internal policies</li><li>Serve as the primary escalation point for proposal and contractual matters</li><li>Drive standardization and continuous improvement of contract processes, templates, and tools</li><li>Develop and implement Canada-specific supplemental processes and procedures to address provincial legal and regulatory requirements, where gaps exist</li><li>Evaluate and streamline processes to avoid duplication, fragmentation, or unnecessary regional deviation</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Team Leadership & Development</strong></p><ul><li>Manage, mentor, and grow a small but expanding team of contracts and proposal professionals</li><li>Set clear goals, performance expectations, and development plans for team members in line with Geo Specific KPI’s</li><li>Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and accountable team culture</li><li>Provide coaching on contract strategy, negotiation, compliance, and stakeholder management</li><li>Support resource planning and scaling of the team in line with business growth</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Proposal Support (Overflow / Strategic Contribution)</strong></p><ul><li>Provide hands-on support for proposal development during peak periods or resource gaps</li><li>Review and contribute to proposal content to ensure alignment with contractual and compliance requirements</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and competitive submissions</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Stakeholder & Portfolio Management</strong></p><ul><li>Act as a strategic partner to sales, legal, finance, and regional teams</li><li>Manage a portfolio of contracts and proposals, balancing priorities and deadlines across provinces</li><li>Communicate risks, timelines, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders</li><li>Navigate ambiguity and evolving requirements while maintaining delivery quality and compliance</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Compliance & Risk Management</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure strict adherence to regulatory, legal, and organizational compliance standards</li><li>Maintain strong knowledge of provincial contractual laws and regulations across Canada</li><li>Implement best practices in audit readiness, documentation, and governance</li><li>Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process or policy improvements</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or related field.</li><li>5+ years of experience in contract management, commercial negotiations, or related roles.</li><li>French/English written and oral</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management principles.</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management systems.</li><li>Advanced degree (JD, MBA) or equivalent experience.</li><li>Experience in technology or IT services industry.</li><li>Familiarity with RFP/RFQ processes and complex pricing structures.</li><li>Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>“The base salary range budgeted for this position is CAD $120,000 – $135,000 (annually).
