Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while maintaining their dignity and privacy.
  • Provide support with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Assist residents with mealtime, including feeding assistance and ensuring adequate nutrition and hydration.
  • Administer or assist with medication reminders as per care plans and facility policies.
  • Engage residents in meaningful activities, social interaction, and provide companionship.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, including light housekeeping tasks in their rooms.
  • Monitor and record residents' health status, documenting any changes or concerns and reporting them to the nursing staff.
  • Communicate effectively and empathetically with residents, their families, and the care team.
  • Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and relevant healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions.
