Field Service Team Lead 

 

We are seeking a proactive and organized Team Lead to support our Field Service Manager in coordinating daily operations and driving team performance. This role is essential to ensuring administrative efficiency, supporting pros in the field, and contributing to the successful achievement of team and company goals. Your role in leading admin duties enables the Field Service Manager to focus on strategic leadership and team development.   

  

The ideal candidate thrives on details, excels at juggling multiple administrative tasks, and energizes the team by bridging the FSM’s game plan with field execution.  

  

 

Key Responsibilities:  

Team & Operations Support  

  • Lead on key admin duties, giving the FSM more time to lead  

  • Translate the FSM’s game plan into clear direction and execution for your team by being a leading example  

  • Serve as a role model for new hires—guiding their training, ensuring they learn the right skills, and setting them on the path to success. Your leadership is key to their growth and the team’s success  

  

 

Administrative Duties  

  • Manage and maintain documentation, including SIP shadows, inventory audits, work orders, and new hire training modules.   

  • Understand team performance and metrics to be able to report to FSM  

  • Ensuring new hire training, general trainings and licensing requirements are met  

  • Actively leading in the field during field time. It can include but is not limited to safety checks, fleet maintenance, etc.   

  • Maintain inventory tracking and coordinate when supplies or equipment are needed.  

  

 

Team Leadership  

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and new hires.  

  • Saturday Team Lead responsible for overseeing performance, managing schedule changes, and motivating the team to achieve targets  

  • Help conduct regular team check-ins and support performance reviews.  

  • Promote a collaborative, accountable, and goal-oriented team culture.  

  

 

Qualifications:  

  • Must be a current Field Technician Professional 

  • Must not be on a performance, behavioral or attendance improvement plan  

  • Has strong organizational and time management skills  

  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal abilities  

  • Has proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office  

  • Has the ability to lead by example and maintain a professional, problem-solving attitude under pressure
