Overview of the role Saputo is seeking a CI Specialist, Warehouse & Distribution, for an existing opportunity within our organization. The CI Specialist plays a key role in advancing continuous improvement initiatives throughout the Saputo Canadian division. This position acts as a data-driven leader who drives significant business transformations. Reporting to the Director of the Continuous Improvement team, the CI Specialist oversees operations of our Warehouses and Distribution network across the Canadian division sites. Serving as a CI Ambassador, the CI Specialist maintains a consistent presence at each Warehouse to coach, influence, implement, and sustain process improvements. The selected candidate will be based at one of our warehouse locations. For roles located in Quebec, bilingualism in French and English is required. As part of their duties, the position holder will be required to communicate and collaborate, both orally and in writing, in English with stakeholders in Canada. If based in Québec, bilingualism in French and English is required. How you will make contributions that matter: Contribute to the development of the CI culture and to the deployment of the strategy across Canadian Warehouses & Distribution, with a focus on improving productivity, eliminating waste, and achieving operational excellence. Act as an internal consultant, reviewing and analyzing current processes, identifying improvement opportunities, conducting industry benchmarking, and supporting capability development within the sites. Strengthen self-sufficient knowledge and long-term sustainability in the use of CI tools, techniques, and best practices. Lead, support, and manage multiple complex projects in collaboration with local leadership teams, applying change-management principles to ensure effective and sustainable implementation. Deliver measurable improvements in site financial performance by identifying, implementing, and tracking operational gains. Participate in the annual budgeting process, identifying improvement opportunities and tracking benefits in partnership with the warehouse manager and accountant, while reporting periodically to CI Corporate. Promote, influence, and deploy CI culture and projects across all sites, ensuring alignment with WH & Distribution strategy. Mentor employees in Lean Six Sigma to build CI mindset, knowledge, and tool proficiency. Ensure accurate measurement of site warehouse performance system, Monitor warehouses capacity, ensuring operational complexity is understood and managed while proactively optimizing asset utilization and reducing supply chain lead time. Support WH and Maintenance teams in their Daily Steering processes (DDS) and organize monthly KPIs meetings. You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent specialization education in operations management, logistics or warehousing. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operation. Proven leadership and commitment to continuous improvement. Green Belt certification is an asset. Strong understanding of CI Culture and Tools. Have the ability to disseminate and sustain them within the warehouse & distribution. Ability to manage projects to achieve improvement targets. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office. Power BI skill is an asset. Ability to influence and work at all levels of an organization Demonstrated soft skills to operate effectively in the Warehouse & distribution without reporting to plant leadership.
