Community Growth Manager

Black Girl Vitamins has a 45,000-member Facebook group, highly engaged comment sections across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, and an active TikTok affiliate community on Discord. That trust is our durable moat, and it's under-monetized. We're hiring a Community Growth Manager to turn it into a real revenue channel, selling to the same customers again and again without paying the Meta or TikTok tax.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Facebook Group (45K). Run it as a destination, not a bulletin board: recurring programming, member-exclusive drops and codes, a superfan ambassador tier, and a steady funnel of new customers so first-time buyers become repeat buyers.

Comment sections (IG, TikTok, Facebook). Be the brand's voice. Turn questions into conversions, complaints into loyalty, and great UGC into content and ads.

TikTok affiliate Discord. Run it as home base for our affiliates, using briefs, challenges, and incentives to grow the volume and quality of content they create. Partner with our creator/affiliate lead.

Programming. Shareable contests and games where playing means inviting others in, plus live Q&As, wellness sessions, and launch events.

Community-to-commerce. Own community codes, landing pages, bundles, referrals, and early-access drops. Work with retention and SMS to make members our highest-LTV cohort.

Voice of the customer. Surface product ideas and objections to the team, and validate launches before we spend on them.

WHO YOU ARE

3 to 5+ years in community, social, lifecycle, or growth at a DTC brand, where you tied community to commercial outcomes.

You think in revenue, not reach.

Deep cultural fluency with the BGV community. You understand the lived experience and health concerns of Black women, our customer, and show up as one of us, not a corporate account.

A strong, fast writer who can rally creators and has run programming that converts: contests, UGC, ambassador programs, live events.

Hands-on with social platforms, Discord, Shopify, Klaviyo, and GA4.

COMPENSATION: $80k-95k annually + bonus

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our company’s size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity.

Equal Opportunity Statement

Black Girl Vitamins is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity and inclusion. We are committed to maintaining a work environment that is free of discrimination and harassment and that provides equal opportunity for all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.
