POSITION OVERVIEW

Alpha Sports Camps is looking for a highly creative, energetic, and motivated Content Creator / Social Media Managerto help capture and showcase the full experience of our Nike Sports Camps in Miami this summer.

This is not a typical “social media internship” role. We are looking for someone who truly understands how to create exciting, high-quality content that makes families, athletes, and international campers want to be part of our camps.

Our camps host athletes from across the United States and increasingly from around the world, with international groups traveling from overseas to experience our programs. We are looking for someone who can help bring that energy, diversity, and atmosphere to life through content.

You will be embedded inside camp life daily — from training sessions and competitions to evening activities, dorm life, field trips, and behind-the-scenes moments.

If you are passionate about sports, storytelling, social media, videography, photography, and creating viral-style sports content, this is an incredible opportunity to build your portfolio while working with a fast-growing sports camp brand.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We want someone who:

  • Understands Instagram, TikTok, Reels, and modern sports content
  • Can capture hype moments, emotions, reactions, and energy
  • Works fast and can post content in real-time throughout the day
  • Has a strong creative eye and understands storytelling
  • Is outgoing, positive, and comfortable around kids and families
  • Can independently manage content creation from shooting to editing to posting
  • Wants to help build a premium sports camp brand

This role is extremely important to us. We are looking for someone who can truly elevate the image and visibility of our camps online.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Capturing high-quality photo and video content daily
  • Shooting practices, games, competitions, interviews, and activities
  • Creating Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories, recap videos, and highlight edits
  • Posting live content throughout the day during camp operations
  • Working directly with Camp Directors on content strategy and daily priorities
  • Capturing both sports action and lifestyle/camp culture moments
  • Conducting quick interviews with campers and coaches
  • Organizing and delivering edited media assets daily
  • Helping showcase the international and university-campus experience of camp
  • Maintaining a positive and professional presence around campers and families

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in content creation, videography, photography, or social media management preferred
  • Portfolio or social media examples required
  • Strong editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva, or equivalent)
  • Must own or have access to quality content equipment (camera, phone, mics, etc.)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced sports environment
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Must be reliable, creative, proactive, and self-motivated
  • Comfortable working around athletes ages 7–17

OVERNIGHT POSITION AVAILABLE

A limited number of overnight positions are available for candidates interested in staying on campus during camp sessions.

Overnight content staff may:

  • Stay in university housing during camp
  • Capture evening activities and dorm life content
  • Help document field trips, evening events, and behind-the-scenes camp experiences

Housing and meals are included for overnight staff positions.

WHY THIS ROLE IS UNIQUE

  • Build a standout sports content portfolio
  • Work inside a high-energy Nike Sports Camp environment
  • Capture athletes from around the world
