Job Title: PR Coordinator

Location: Las Vegas, NV (with travel required)

Role Overview The PR Coordinator will support the Communications team across UFC, Thrill Sports, and Zuffa Boxing, playing a key role in shaping media coverage, athlete visibility, and corporate events. This role is ideal for a highly organized, creative self-starter with a passion for sports, storytelling, and fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

Media &

  • Communications
  • Draft and edit press materials including press releases, media alerts, talking points, athlete bios, and internal communications.
  • Pitch stories and secure media opportunities for a roster of athletes and company events across print, digital, broadcast, and social platforms.
  • Maintain strong relationships with media contacts and assist with ongoing press inquiries.

Athlete &

  • Opportunity Development
  • Identify and develop outside-the-box opportunities for athletes, including activations, major media appearances, brand moments, and non-traditional storytelling opportunities.
  • Build and maintain an influencer creator list to maximize exposure and engagement across all platforms.

Event &

  • On-Site Support
  • Travel regularly to support domestic and international events, including fight weeks and promotional appearances.
  • Assist with fight week schedules and provide operational support across all events as needed.
  • Oversee and execute company events such as Town Halls, employee events, and internal activations in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Cross-Brand Support

  • Support communications efforts primarily for UFC, while also contributing to initiatives for Thrill Sports and Zuffa Boxing.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations and special projects across all brands as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in public relations, communications, media relations, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with experience creating press materials.
  • Proven ability to pitch and secure media placements.
  • Experience working events and traveling as part of a communications role.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with athletes, executives, media, and partners.
  • Passion for sports, live events, and storytelling.
