Job Purpose and Objectives:
Assists in maintaining Reno County owned buildings by keeping them neat and clean, and by being observant, recording items needing repair by the maintenance technicians. Part-time crew members acts in a supportive role to the full-time crew and may or may not include all essential duties below, depending on departmental needs, and current job assignments.
Position Requirements and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed in the complete job description are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Minimum 1-year previous experience desired.
  • Shall be a US citizen or Non-US citizen that must be able to perform the work in or for the United States.
  • Shall be at least 18 years of age.
  • Shall be screened for a record of criminal activity and criminal history using a named-based record check before employment is offered or before job duties are assigned that might expose them to KCJIS-sensitive information.
  • Shall be screened for a record of criminal activity and criminal history using a fingerprint-based check within 30 days after initial employment or assignment and before unconditional employment is offered.
Certifications / Licenses:
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Kansas driver’s license.
