Dietary/Utility Aide

Prepare and serve nutritious meals to patients according to their dietary needs and restrictions. Ensure all food items are properly labeled and stored in accordance with food safety regulations. Assist with dishwashing and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining area. Follow proper sanitation and hygiene practices to prevent foodborne illnesses. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely delivery of meals to patients. Monitor and report any changes in patients' dietary needs to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Assist with inventory management and ordering of food and supplies. Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while interacting with patients and their families. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including confidentiality and patient privacy. Attend trainings and meetings to stay updated on new food safety regulations and dietary guidelines. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Follow safety protocols and use equipment properly to avoid accidents or injuries. Participate in continuous quality improvement activities to enhance the dining experience for patients. Take initiative to identify and address any potential food service issues or concerns.
