To expand the reach and impact of our work, we are seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing Associate to support the development and execution of our strategic marketing initiatives.</p> <p> </p> <p>The Digital Marketing Associate reports to the Director of Communications & Marketing. This role can be performed virtually from within the United States. Virtual candidates will be expected to travel to the Great Barrington, MA office roughly once per year.</p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Essential Duties and Responsibilities</span></p> <ul> <li>Create social media graphics, event flyers, one-pagers, and other marketing materials using tools such as Canva and Adobe Express.</li> <li>Assist in planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns, including paid advertising.</li> <li>Update and maintain website content, including text edits and new podcast episodes.</li> <li>Manage and schedule social media content across platforms, including responding to comments and questions.</li> <li>Coordinate with the Research & Education Team and visiting researchers to develop regular social media content.</li> <li>Serve as liaison with external marketing partner: communicate campaign goals, timelines, approvals, revisions, and brand consistency.</li> <li>Support SEO/SEM efforts and monitor performance.</li> <li>Track campaign performance, gather engagement data, and generate reports using analytical tools.</li> <li>Research current trends in social media, marketing, and communications.</li> <li>Perform additional tasks as needed.</li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Qualifications and Skills</span></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.</li> <li>1–3 years of experience in digital marketing or related role (internships acceptable).</li> <li>Hands-on experience managing social media platforms and running ad campaigns.</li> <li>Proven ability to create digital marketing content, including graphics, emails, videos, and podcasts (examples of past work required).</li> <li>Experience with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4).</li> <li>Familiarity with email marketing platforms and CRM systems.</li> <li>Working knowledge of digital marketing tools such as Descript, Riverside, LibSyn, WordPress, Asana, Monday.com, and Workflowy, with the ability to quickly learn new platforms.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.</li> <li>Basic understanding of branding principles and customer journeys.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Pay Range</span></p> <p>$60,000 - $70,000 annually depending on experience.</p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Physical Demands and Work Environment</span></p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
