Digital Marketing Manager

GENERAL FUNCTION: The Digital Marketing Manager will support the Vice President of Marketing in providing strategic and tactical leadership in marketing and communications to advance the mission of the YMCA and YMCA 360. This position will implement comprehensive marketing strategies in order to expand and support our digital offerings as it relates to YMCA360 and ymcawichita.org. The Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with the VP of Marketing and collaborate with YMCA 360 leadership to develop and achieve marketing and communication goals related to member acquisition, increase usage of digital products by new and existing members, expand offerings to partner YMCA’s around the country and maintain marketing plans for existing partners. This position will assist with the implementation of external marketing, member communication, staff engagement and communication and digital strategy and development.


MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, integrated communications, or relevant field of study
  • Five or more years of successful experience in the marketing field to include: multi-channel marketing, digital application experience, project leadership, and results management with a deep understanding of the intersection of consumer experience, media, marketing and digital technology
  • Proven ability to be an innovative, creative, proactive and self-directed team player in a fast-paced environment
  • In-depth knowledge in effective use of social media platforms, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Canva; Drupal 7 & 8 experience preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills including ability to compose and curate content, design graphics, write and edit compelling stories, draft statements of work, develop RFPs, manage bids and place media.
  • Experience in marketing planning, strategy and workflows, business process design, behavioral marketing, and data mining and analysis
  • Experience in digital marketing of custom applications and websites, on demand or virtual fitness platforms preferred.
  • Experience in project management integrating software products within an organization.

Physical/Mental Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support marketing projects as assigned.
  • Assist with the social media strategy and execute the daily social media activities for YMCA 360.
  • Assist with the digital marketing strategy and complete web site updates as requested ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Manage 3rd party vendors and execute digital projects as assigned.
  • Provide support to internal staff, members and consumers and troubleshoot any issues, internally or with 3rd party vendors, that arise with the digital products of the Greater Wichita YMCA.
  • Create and implement email campaigns for YMCA3 60 and the Greater Wichita YMCA.
  • Maintain and manage new releases of content on the YMCA 360 channels ensuring content is delivered on time and with proper communication.
  • Execute small video projects as assigned for social media or online distribution.
  • Assist with the production of YMCA360 video content ensuring it is of high quality, meets brand standards and follows video content guidelines.
  • Assist in training materials and updates for branch teams and partner YMCA’s.
  • Assist in producing copy for marketing materials, press releases, emails (both internal and external) as assigned.
  • Maintain templates in a document resource library ensuring that documents are readily available, accurate and timely for YMCA 360 partners.
  • Assist with editing marketing brochures and flyers utilizing Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Publisher.
  • Maintain analytics for all digital products and provide reporting to leadership.
  • Manage the ecommerce product engine for the association and ensure customer satisfaction with the process.

EFFECT ON END RESULT: The Greater Wichita YMCA’s multi-channel program marketing will bring greater prominence to the Y brand and mission while optimizing usage of marketing tools by all Y staff, improving automation, increasing audience engagement, enhancing personalization, driving enrollment in programs, and providing quality service to the community.
