Domestic and International Freight Coordiator

Domestic and International Freight Coordinator (Next-Gen Operations)

Honolulu, HI
18–$22/hour + full benefits

Who We Are

Triple B Forwarders has been moving freight to and from the Islands and around the world since 1976. We operate across Hawaii, Guam, Saipan, Los Angeles, and global markets, and we’re continuing to scale with better systems, smarter processes, and a team that wants to build something, not just maintain it.

If you like fast-moving environments, solving real-world problems, and using tech to make things run better—you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Actually Do

This isn’t a “sit and repeat tasks” role. You’ll be in the middle of real logistics operations—working with customers, tracking shipments, and coordinating across teams.

On a typical day, you might:

  • Track and manage international shipments (ocean + air)
  • Coordinate imports (FCL, LCL) from origin to delivery
  • Communicate with customers, overseas partners, and carriers
  • Build and send quotes using internal systems
  • Solve problems when shipments don’t go as planned (which happens often)
  • Work with dispatch and operations to keep freight moving

What Makes This Role Different

  • You’ll learn global logistics fast—not just one small piece
  • You’ll use modern tools + systems (and help improve them)
  • You’ll have direct exposure to decision-makers
  • You’re not boxed in—growth into ops, sales, or management is real

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need 10 years of experience—we care more about how you think and work.

You’ll do well here if you:

  • Are tech-comfortable (Excel, systems, learning new software quickly)
  • Communicate clearly (email, phone, problem-solving conversations)
  • Like juggling multiple things without dropping the ball
  • Are naturally curious and ask “why” instead of just following steps
  • Stay calm under pressure and figure things out

Bonus points if you:

  • Have logistics, supply chain, or operations exposure
  • Have worked in fast-paced environments (startups, service, operations)

What You Get

  • Full benefits: medical, dental, vision
  • 401(k)
  • Bi-Annual Bonus
  • Paid time off
  • A team that actually supports your growth
  • Real career path (not just a job)

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • 401(k) matching
  • Dental insurance
  • Employee discount
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Retirement plan
  • Vision insurance
