Domestic Assistant – Rockingham and surrounds – WA  

 

We’re recruiting Domestic Assistants for multiple permanent part‑time roles

(44 hours per fortnight)

, mainly needed

Monday-Thursday between 9am and 3pm.

Applicants must live in Bertram, Calista, Casuarina, East Rockingham, Kwinana, Kwinana Beach, Kwinana Town Centre, Leda, Medina, Orelia, Parmelia, Rockingham, or Wellard.

Domestic Assistants support clients to maintain independence by providing domestic assistance, general housekeeping, meal preparation and social support. The role involves travelling between clients’ homes, following a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app, so a reliable vehicle and ability to work autonomously are essential.

What we’re looking for

  • 3-6 months Domestic/Industrial cleaning experience.
  • A valid Drivers’ License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
  • Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.

 

 

The role 

  • Provide high‑quality support that promotes client independence.
  • Deliver domestic assistance and general housekeeping tasks.
  • Prepare meals and support clients with basic nutrition needs.
  • Provide social support and assist clients to remain engaged in their community.
  • Follow a predetermined schedule while travelling between clients’ homes.
  • Use a mobile app to access and follow digital schedules and care plans independently.
  • Maintain unrestricted access to a reliable vehicle for travel between visits.
