<p>This is a remote position.</p> Position Title: Draftsperson/Estimator<br>Work Set-up: Work From Home or Office<br>Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm PH Time<br>Salary: Php 45,000 – Php 55,000<br><br>About the Role<br><br>Our client is a premier residential builder based in Brisbane South, dedicated to delivering high-quality new homes. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson / Estimator to join our offshore team in Pampanga. In this dual role, you will create precise 3D models and construction documentation using ArchiCAD, while also producing accurate material take-offs and cost estimates. You will act as a key technical link, coordinating directly with Australian councils, certifiers, and town planners to ensure seamless project approvals.<br><br>JOB DESCRIPTION FOR DRAFTSPERSON/ESTIMATOR<br><br>Responsibilities as a Draftsperson/Estimator:<br><br>Drafting & Design Development<br>• Produce detailed architectural working drawings and documentation for residential new homes using ArchiCAD 3D.<br>• Update, amend, and finalize plans based on client feedback, site constraints, and engineering requirements.<br>• Maintain strict adherence to company drafting standards and layer management.<br>Estimating & Take-offs<br>• Conduct accurate material take-offs and quantities from 3D models and construction drawings.<br>• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bill of quantities (BOQ) for standard designs and custom modifications.<br>• Identify discrepancies between drawings and estimates to minimize budget <br>• variances.<br>Compliance & Liaison<br>• Ensure all designs strictly comply with the National Construction Code (NCC), Queensland Development Code (QDC), and relevant Australian Standards.<br>• Prepare and lodge applications for town planning, council approvals, and building certification.<br>• Liaise confidently with Brisbane-based certifiers, council officers, town planners, and engineers to resolve queries and secure approvals.<br><br>Qualifications as a Draftsperson/Estimator:<br><br>• Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience in drafting and estimating for residential new homes in Australia. Direct experience with the Queensland (QLD) housing market is highly preferred.<br>• Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in ArchiCAD 3D is mandatory. Experience with estimating software (e.g., Databuild, CostX, or Excel-based systems) is highly desirable.<br>• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC), ResCode guidelines, and local council planning schemes.<br>• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with the confidence to professionally negotiate and liaise with Australian authorities.<br>• Work Ethic: High attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and the ability to work independently within an offshore team structure.<br><br>Your love for Boomering will jump-start with these meaningful engagement activities and perks.
