E-Commerce Inventory Assistant Manager

At Beauty Brands, our fulfillment center is dedicated to delivering products to our customers as efficiently and accurately as possible. The Inventory Assistant Manager plays a key leadership role in driving accuracy, reliability, and safety, while supporting the overall performance of our fulfillment operations.

We are seeking a full-time Inventory Assistant Manager to join our eCommerce Fulfillment team. This role reports to the Director of Fulfillment and is responsible for overseeing daily inventory operations, supporting team leadership, and driving process improvements across the facility.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As the Beauty Brands Inventory Assistant Manager, you will work as an integral part of our eCommerce Fulfillment team. You’ll have the opportunity to work in multiple business units such as leadership, analytics, order pack/ship, replenishment, receiving, and inventory control. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee daily inventory control operations, including cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and inventory accuracy initiatives
  • Analyze inventory trends and partner with leadership to implement process improvements and reduce errors
  • Manage and optimize slotting and pick locations to improve efficiency and throughput
  • Monitor backorders, stock levels, and replenishment strategies to minimize out-of-stocks
  • Support and help lead daily fulfillment operations to ensure timely and accurate order processing
  • Oversee Start-of-Day and End-of-Day processes, including order imports, workload balancing, and documentation
  • Supervise, coach, and develop inventory and put-away teams, ensuring productivity and engagement
  • Utilize warehouse systems, reporting tools, and RF technology to manage and improve operations

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3–5 years of experience in inventory control, fulfillment, or distribution operations
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and shipping software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members

Preferred:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field

In our fast-paced fulfillment center, you’ll always be on the move. Please note the following physical requirements in addition to tasks above:

  • Ability to bend, twist, stretch, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions

SCHEDULE

  • Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Flexibility required for evenings and weekends during peak seasons
