Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

Lead the end-to-end execution of tentpole events, brand activations, partner programs, and industry gatherings that elevate Hearst Autos
Develop and implement a comprehensive events strategy aligned with editorial, marketing, and revenue goals
Conceptualize and produce flagship experiences, including enthusiast drives, awards programs, launch events, and experiential activations
Identify and scale new event formats and franchise opportunities to expand audience engagement
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, editorial, creative, and revenue teams to deliver integrated event experiences
Build and manage sponsor relationships, ensuring seamless on-site integrations and delivery against ROI objectives
Oversee event budgets, forecasts, contract negotiations, and reconciliation processes
Deliver post-event reporting, including performance insights and recommendations for future optimization

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

5+ years of experience in event production, ideally within media, automotive, experiential marketing, or lifestyle brands
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder events from concept through execution
Strong budget management and contract negotiation skills
Experience developing and integrating sponsorships into live and experiential environments
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills, with confidence presenting ideas and leading discussions across diverse groups
High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools
Interest in automotive media and enthusiast culture is a plus
Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
This is a remote role

The base salary for this role is $52/hr. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
