Events Supervisor

Job introduction .We currently have an opportunity for casual Event Supervisor to join our amazing team.<br>As an Event Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional, food-driven experiences across a diverse portfolio of events. Supporting the Events Manager, you will lead front-of-house operations with confidence, ensuring every event is executed with precision .<br>This is a hands‑on role for a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in fast‑paced, high‑end environments , with a strong focus on guest experience, attention to detail, and team leadership .<br>What you’ll do Lead and supervise front‑of‑house teams to deliver polished, professional, and engaging service<br>Ensure the smooth and efficient running of events, from set‑up through to service and breakdown<br>Act as a central point of contact during live events, maintaining clear communication across teams<br>Support the delivery of bespoke food and drink experiences , ensuring presentation and timing meet high standards<br>Support Events Manager to conduct team briefings, delegate tasks, and motivate staff to achieve consistently excellent results<br>Maintain compliance with food safety and health & safety<br>Anticipate guest needs and resolve any issues with a calm, solutions‑focused approach<br>Work collaboratively with chefs, planners, and managers to ensure every detail is considered and delivered<br>Uphold Heritage Portfolio standards, ensuring each event reflects a commitment to quality, creativity, and hospitality excellence<br>What you’ll bring Skills & Experience<br>Proven experience in events, catering, or hospitality supervision<br>Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams under pressure<br>Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities<br>A passion for food, drink, and exceptional service delivery<br>Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills<br>A proactive, hands‑on approach with strong attention to detail<br>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied event schedules<br>Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards (training will be provided)<br>What We’re Looking For<br>A natural host with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences<br>Someone who thrives in dynamic, high‑profile event environments , with attention to detail<br>A team player who leads by example and brings energy, professionalism, and creativity to every event<br>Why Sodexo?
