Executive Search Associate - Remote

Executive Search Associate

AI-Enabled Search Firm | Remote | $100K OTE

About Urrly

Urrly is building a faster, more transparent, more data-driven version of executive search, powered by strong recruiters, structured candidate evaluation, and AI-enabled recruiting systems.

Founded in 2022 and based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Urrly is a tech-enabled recruiting and executive search firm focused on critical hiring. We partner with lower middle market private equity firms, portfolio companies, VC-backed healthcare companies, and tech-enabled services businesses to fill execution-critical roles with more speed, signal, and visibility than traditional search firms.

Our work spans executive search, permanent placement, clinical search, and embedded recruiting, with deep concentration in healthcare services, healthtech, professional services, insurance, AI, and B2B tech-enabled services.

About the Role

We are looking for an Executive Search Associate to join our team full-time.

This is a recruiting, sales, and search execution role for someone who wants to help build a faster, smarter version of executive search. You will learn how modern search works from the inside, use AI and automation to move faster, and build the habits required to succeed in a high-accountability recruiting environment.

This is not a corporate HR role, and it is not a low-pressure recruiting seat. It is a high-growth role for someone who has proven they can hunt, follow up, solve problems, and create momentum without waiting for perfect instructions.

You will support and increasingly own full-cycle recruiting across clinical, engineering, and executive searches, working with PE portfolio companies, VC-backed healthcare platforms, and high-growth technology firms.

Who This Role Is For

This role is for someone who has already proven they can win in a performance-driven environment, likely in recruiting, staffing, sales, business development, account management, or an SDR/BDR role.

You are competitive, high-EQ, and outcome-driven. You are comfortable with outbound, follow-up, rejection, ambiguity, and the reality that great outcomes usually require more persistence than most people are willing to bring.

You think critically, communicate clearly, and do not need every step spelled out for you. You can take a goal, figure out the path, ask smart questions, and keep momentum moving.

You are genuinely interested in AI and how it can be used to do work better, faster, and more creatively. You are not just casually using ChatGPT; you are actively looking for ways to use AI to create leverage.

If you are in a season of life where you want to push hard, learn fast, make more money, and build uncommon career leverage, this role will probably speak to you. If you are optimizing for predictability, fixed lanes, and clean 9-to-5 boundaries, it probably will not. There is nothing wrong with either path, but this role is built for someone who wants the high-growth one.

What You Will Do

Conduct hiring intake calls with executives and founders to clarify role requirements, trade-offs, must-haves, and realistic market expectations.

Translate client needs into structured scorecards used to evaluate candidates against consistent, objective criteria.

Source candidates using proprietary AI-enabled workflows, LinkedIn, market mapping, referrals, research, and creative search strategies.

Identify high-quality candidates who are not actively applying and create messaging that gets their attention.

Screen candidates through video and phone interviews, assessing technical fit, communication ability, motivation, and the traits that predict success in demanding environments.

Manage client and candidate relationships with urgency, clarity, and professionalism.

Keep searches moving through consistent follow-up, clean notes, clear next steps, and strong process management.

Use AI tools, automation, and structured workflows to improve speed, quality, sourcing, screening, evaluation, and client communication.

Continuously improve the process, tighten execution, and raise the bar for what great recruiting delivery looks like.

What We Are Looking For

2 to 7 years of client-facing experience in a performance-driven role with measurable outcomes, such as recruiting, staffing, executive search, sales, account management, or business development.

A hunter mindset with proof that you have succeeded in a role requiring proactive outbound, persistence, follow-up, and self-generated activity.

Strong sourcing instincts. You do not wait for applicants to show up; you know how to find high-quality candidates the market is not handing you.

Exceptional communication skills. You write clearly, speak with confidence, and bring a polished, professional presence to clients and candidates.

Detail-oriented execution. You follow through, keep clean notes, manage next steps, and make sure important details do not slip through the cracks.

AI fluency. You can name specific, practical ways you use AI tools like ChatGPT to get more done in less time.

Experience with Clay, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar platforms is a plus.

Structured thinking. You approach problems methodically, ask smart questions, and understand the implications and trade-offs of different approaches.

Comfort with ambiguity, rejection, changing priorities, and the reality that great outcomes usually come from consistent, disciplined activity.

Experience recruiting in healthcare, technical, executive, finance/accounting, or legal sectors is a strong plus, but not required.

Startup experience is a plus, but not required.

Why This Role Is Different

This is not a traditional agency recruiting role where you are thrown onto a desk, handed a quota, and expected to figure it out alone.

You will work directly with leadership, learn how executive search is actually run, and use AI-enabled systems that make the work faster, more structured, and more measurable.

You will get exposure to serious client work early, including PE-backed companies, VC-backed healthcare platforms, and high-growth technology businesses.

As you prove yourself, you can take on more ownership across search execution, client management, business development, process improvement, and team leadership.

This is a strong fit for someone who wants to build a career around search, sales, AI-enabled recruiting, and high-quality execution, and who wants more ownership as they prove they can create results.

Compensation

Base salary is $75K with $100K on-target earnings.

There is significant room for compensation growth based on individual performance. Top performers who deliver results will see their earnings scale accordingly as the company grows.

Location

This is a remote role based in the United States.

AI Disclosure

Urrly uses AI-enabled tools throughout parts of our recruiting process and day-to-day search delivery. These tools help us move faster, create more structured evaluations, improve communication, and reduce administrative drag for candidates, clients, and our internal team.

AI does not make final hiring decisions. All candidate evaluations and hiring decisions are reviewed and made by people.

How to Apply

If this sounds like the kind of role you have been looking for, submit your application and resume.

We are looking for people who can show evidence of performance, persistence, communication ability, and genuine interest in using AI to do better work.
