Job Summary As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a vital role in processing various medical documents, extracting data, and entering it into our electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word. You'll work independently and collaboratively with our team to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion. Your critical thinking skills will be essential in determining next steps and communicating with clients via phone to obtain missing information. A Day in the Role As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, your typical day will involve * Processing various medical documents, including Independent Medical Reviews * Extracting data and entering it into our electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word * Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion * Using critical thinking steps to determine next steps and reach out to clients via phone to obtain missing information * Providing exceptional customer service and client coordination over the phone * Meeting productivity and quality standards in a metrics-driven environment Requirements To succeed in this role, you'll need * High school diploma or equivalent * At least 1 year of remote work experience * Reliable high-speed internet * Your own computer or laptop (no Chromebooks) * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Ability to work in a metrics/quota driven environment * Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims is preferred * Previous experience working in a metrics-based environment Schedule Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 800 AM to 530 PM EST. You'll be expected to work independently and manage your time effectively to meet productivity and quality standards.
