If you are a friendly, motivated person with a passion to serve others, the Omni Houston Hotel may be your perfect match.<br><br><strong>Position Overview<br><br></strong>The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for ensuring proper training and supervision of all F&B personnel, ensuring the team consistently delivers prompt, courteous service in a professional manner. Service is expected to comply with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures in all areas of operations related to guest service experience for all Outlets (includes all full-service Restaurants, Room Services, Minibar, Pool Bar, and Over The Counter Markets, Bars/Lounges and Night Club) and Banquets Event Spaces to create memorable guest experiences.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Check staff punctuality and document call off and tardiness.</li><li> Ensure that pre-shift meeting conducted with service staff on a daily basis for all shifts.</li><li> Train and ensure that service personnel follow designated service scenarios.</li><li> Train, coach and counsel and effectively communicate with all Outlets staff.</li><li> To monitor and critique the quality and consistency of the food product.</li><li> Bring innovation and creative ideas and be able to plan ahead.</li><li> Maintain cleanliness and health code standards.</li><li> Handle guest comments and complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.</li><li> Stay on the floor during peak hours, communicate with guests and receive feedback.</li><li> Monitor associate performance and assist as needed as well as guests experience.</li><li> Examine food preparation and beverage presentation to ensure quality standards are met.</li><li> Administrative responsibilities: support food and beverage managers with payroll, scheduling, ordering, daily recaps, etc.</li><li> Monitor food waste.</li><li> Assist in completing inventory process and ordering necessary items.</li><li> Monitor labor and payroll costs.</li><li> Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws</li><li> Monitor and control productivity. Proper scheduling according to business demands, etc.</li><li> Assist in scheduling, weekly payroll, interviewing new employees, cost controls and food and liquor requisitions.</li><li> Complete other tasks as assigned by management.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Preferred to have at least 2 years of experience as an F&B Outlet Manager, in a 4 Diamond hotel or similar setting</li><li> Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.</li><li> Individual must be able to work in fast-paced environment and multitask.</li><li> Proven effective leader and ability to delegate.</li><li> Able to train, develop and lead a team to success.</li><li> Computer literate and detail orientated a must, basic mathematical skills and be able to create and understand financial reports.</li><li> Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational skills.</li><li> Flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.</li><li> Must have up to date Food Handler Certification, and TABC Certification<br><br></li></ul>Omni Hotels & Resorts Is An Equal Opportunity/AA/Disability/Veteran Employer.
