We’re a U.S.-based tech company with a high bar for talent, ownership, and execution — and we’re intentional about building a strong, globally distributed team from the start.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>About the Work</strong></h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">We're looking for a hands-on Fractional Finance & Strategy Lead who can help us model, plan, and make data-driven decisions across the company.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Specifically, you'll:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build financial models, projections, and scenario plans</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Analyze unit economics and work backwards from revenue targets to inform hiring and growth plans</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Pull and analyze customer data to surface insights that shape strategy</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build pricing and ROI models to support sales conversations</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Prepare materials for investor updates and help manage investor relationships</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work with our outsourced accounting firm on monthly and quarterly reporting</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work directly with our founder / CEO as a hands-on execution partner</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>About You</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Recent work at early-stage, VC-backed startups (Seed through C), in hands-on Finance/Strategy/BizOps roles</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A background in investment banking, management consulting, and similar strategic finance roles</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Financial modeling and projections are your bread and butter</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with mid-market and enterprise SaaS products, and highly comfortable modeling standard SaaS metrics</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfortable working on an hourly basis (not retainer), tracking your hours, and moving with efficiency</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Based in the USA or Canada only</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Nice-to-haves:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">SQL skills</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Exposure to AI software businesses and outcome-based pricing models</p></li></ul><h2>Compensation:</h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">We offer competitive pay based on the market and where you’re located.
