Freelance Copywriter/Email Marketing Coordinator for Mission Led Organisation

<p>Freelance Writer for Mission Led Organisation£21 per hour | 25 hours per week (with scope for 30 when settled)</p><p>Remote | Flexible working</p><p>We are mission based organisations providing training and education for professionals and young people in therapy, outdoor practice and sustainability. We are looking for a reliable, experienced Freelance Email Marketing Copywriter & Social Media Marketer.</p><p>You should be a confident, skilled writer, able to understand how language shapes emotion, trust and decision-making. You will need to write clear, engaging email sequences and marketing content that speaks directly to our audiences, while also supporting light social and campaign delivery.</p><p>We are looking for someone who is highly organised, efficient and self‐motivated, and who feels confident taking responsibility for a key role within a small, mission‐driven team.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Attend a monthly planning meeting to understand upcoming courses, launches and events</p><p>Write and schedule email campaigns to potential learners - high volume email quantity</p><p>Manage automated email sequences linked to waitlists, including updating, starting and stopping sequences without prompting</p><p>Write and schedule social media content aligned to email campaigns</p><p>Write and schedule social media content based on team activity and organisational updates</p><p>Manage Facebook ads focused on course leads</p><p>Monitor and review email and ad performance</p><p>Track key statistics clearly in Google Sheets</p><p>Communicate regularly with the team via WhatsApp and Asana</p><p>Proactively request and chase information from team members to support planned content</p><p>Hours and Pay</p><p>Freelance role</p><p>25 hours per week to start, with scope to increase to 30 hours with increased workload when comfortable</p><p>£21 per hour</p><p>Flexible working hours, spread across the week at times that suit you best</p><p>Essential Requirements</p><p>Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail</p><p>Experience with email marketing and automated email sequences</p><p>Confident working across multiple organisations or projects</p><p>Highly organised and able to manage work independently</p><p>Comfortable using online tools such as Podia, Meta Business Suite, Meta Ads Manager, Asana and Google Sheets</p><p>Happy interacting via Whatsapp and Asana with team</p><p>Desirable</p><p>Experience marketing online courses or training programmes</p><p>Experience managing Facebook ads</p><p>How to ApplyPlease apply with your CV and a short cover letter outlining:</p><p>Why you are interested in this role</p><p>Your relevant experience and approach to digital marketing</p><p>Responses without a Cover Letter will be disregarded.
