Front Desk Part Time Weekend Overnight Associate

<strong>Description<br><br></strong><strong>Job Overview: <br><br></strong>As a Part Time Front Desk Associate, you’ll be responsible for working independently, and without direct supervision. Possess strong communication, telephone, and customer service skills. Be detailed oriented and able to multitask. Meet and greet residents; checks guests and service providers in/out. Able to understand and react to emergency response and access control procedures; monitors and operates electronic security control systems; and accurately maintains daily logs, records and forms.<br><br><strong>Your Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Minimum one year of front desk experience, preferably in a residential building</li><li> Familiarity with fire alarm panels</li><li> Basic knowledge of shutting off water to the fire system</li><li> Basic understanding of shutting off water to individual units</li><li> Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred</li><li> Strong situational awareness, including monitoring cameras and following established protocols for deliveries (checking vendors in, confirming parking location, and ensuring vehicles are parked in authorized areas before service is allowed)</li><li> Ability to remain professional and firm when enforcing building policies</li><li> Limited cellphone use while assigned to the front desk</li><li> Computer literacy, including the ability to prepare incident reports using a web browser or Microsoft Word</li><li> Basic Excel knowledge, such as opening files and searching for information</li><li> Dependable and flexible, including the ability to remain on duty if relief is delayed until a replacement arrives</li><li> Dress code is all black until uniforms are purchased by the building</li><li> Stand each time a person comes to the desk<br><br></li></ul><strong>Skills & Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalency preferred. </li><li>College level courses in business or hospitality preferred. </li><li>Two (2) to three (3) years of business experience preferred. </li><li>Computer literacy: command of information system hardware/software is preferred. </li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Multiple language fluency is desirable. </li><li>Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs. </li><li>Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time. </li><li>Handle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages. </li><li>Reach with hands and arms. </li><li>Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.</li><li>Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions</li><li>Complete all required forms. </li><li>Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements. </li><li>Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Schedule<br><br></strong>Saturday and Sunday overnight from 11PM to 7 AM<br><br><strong>What We Offer<br><br></strong>As a non-exempt full time associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, and Vision.
