Job Description (General Summary)

The Food Business Unit is looking for a driven and innovative Global Trade Show Manager to manage the full cycle of Trade Shows. In this role, you will develop and execute event strategies that align with the BU\'s key performance indicators, ensuring successful delivery from concept through completion.

Leverage cutting-edge tools to create impactful experiences. You are a strategic thinker capable of integrating events into larger marketing strategies, translating high-level vision into practical, engaging events that drive customer and internal engagement. Building strong, forward-thinking relationships with both external vendors and internal stakeholders is central to your approach. Your role includes developing and owning processes that deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience while meeting business goals and keeping productivity top of mind.

As a key representative of Intralox, you will act as a brand ambassador, showcasing our unique company culture and values in every interaction.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

What will you do?

  • Implement the Business Unit\'s Trade Show strategy, including budget management and KPIs.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze Trade Shows, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define goals, manage speakers, budgets, and promotional strategies.
  • Coordinate communication and logistics between on-site and off-site teams for seamless event execution.
  • Align stakeholders, vendors, and event teams to deliver high-quality events with maximum ROI.
  • Build and manage vendor relationships, including budgeting, negotiation, and compliance.
  • Monitor event metrics in real-time to optimize outcomes and create post-event reports that capture key insights and performance.
  • Stay informed on event industry trends and collaborate with teams to continuously refine event strategies.
Who are you?
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of strategic experience in Event Management or Marketing Communications, ideally within a B2B environment.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and project management skills, with a proven ability to lead successful, high-impact events.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration abilities, with the capability to influence and manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using event technology platforms and digital tools to enhance event experiences.
  • Data-driven mindset, with expertise in using metrics to guide real-time decisions and assess event performance post-event.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a strong listener, capable of facilitating collaboration and removing obstacles across teams.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with experience managing vendor relationships, preparing, and maintaining event budgets.
