This role plays a key part in ensuring patient accounts are accurately managed, supported, and resolved in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for managing patient case accounts
  • Review, update, and track patient information in internal systems
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurers, and patients to resolve billing issues
  • Investigate discrepancies in claims or accounts and take corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal policies
  • Communicate account statuses and next steps clearly to all stakeholders
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to case inquiries and follow-ups
  • Collaborate with the case management team to ensure patient needs are met

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in healthcare billing, insurance, case management, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of medical billing codes, EOBs, or claims processing (preferred)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Tech-savvy with experience using EMR/EHR systems and billing platforms
  • Ability to work independently and stay productive in a remote environment
  • Must be available to work standard Eastern Time business hours
  • High level of accuracy, discretion, and professionalism
  • High-speed internet and a dedicated home office setup
