HealthShare Engineer (Remote Opportunity)

<p>We are currently looking for a HealthShare Engineer for a 100% remote position on a large federal government project. The selected candidate will support enterprise healthcare integration environments and work within a collaborative DevSecOps-focused team supporting InterSystems HealthShare, IRIS, and related middleware technologies. This role involves supporting production systems, automating operational processes, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and assisting with infrastructure and application support initiatives.</p> <p>The candidate must reside within the continental US.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li> Provide strategies and solutions for automating operations and improving software delivery methodologies and technology processes. </li> <li> Maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and support backup, recovery, patching, and ADFS integrations. </li> <li> Manage certificate administration, including updates and renewals across production and lower-level environments. </li> <li> Provide Tier 3 support for HealthShare applications and related technologies. </li> <li> Install, configure, and maintain InterSystems base software, kits, patches, and middleware applications. </li> <li> Support OAuth and Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration and implementation efforts. </li> <li> Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li> Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. </li> <li> Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in Information Technology and/or Federal Government contracting environments. </li> <li> Minimum of 2 years of experience coding, maintaining, or supporting production systems. </li> <li> Hands-on experience with InterSystems Cache, IRIS, or HealthShare technologies. </li> <li> Experience automating infrastructure, testing, or deployments using tools such as Jenkins and Ansible. </li> <li> Experience with cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). </li> <li> Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD processes to improve software quality and delivery speed. </li> <li> Strong experience with Agile and/or SAFe methodologies and DevOps practices. </li> <li> Experience working with Unix/Linux systems, Apache, Python scripting, and AWS CloudWatch. </li> <li> Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li> Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance. </li> <li> Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace preferred. </li> <li> Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) environments is highly preferred. </li> <li> AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification preferred. </li> <li> Experience configuring and supporting large-scale middleware applications preferred. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li> Medical/Dental/Vision. </li> <li> 401k with Employer Match. </li> <li> PTO + Federal Holidays. </li> <li> Corporate Laptop. </li> <li> Training Opportunities. </li> <li> Remote Opportunity. </li> </ul> <p>Note: Selected candidates will be required to complete fingerprinting at a government facility and undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.</p> <p>VetsEZ is an equal opportunity employer.
