ROLE

The primary responsibility of the lifeguard is to provide a safe environment while providing quality guest service. All duties reflect the property policies and procedures as it relates to Pool Operations. Lifeguards will also participate in in-services and all assigned company trainings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow all Safety and Security procedures to protect and ensure the safety of our guests, employees and assets.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule based on business needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction with owners and guests.
  • Cautions swimmers regarding unsafe activities.
  • Rescues swimmers who are in danger of drowning and administers first aid.
  • Maintains order in the swimming pool areas
  • Inspects pools and surrounding areas for cleanliness
  • May be asked to clean pools.
  • Appropriately documents accidents and incidents and other company forms as needed.
  • May conduct or officiate at water events such as water volleyball matches.
  • Facilitate swimming programs for guests.
  • Performs all other job requests as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Must have basic math skills and aptitude.
  • Must have a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Must be Clark County or Red Cross Certified Lifeguard
  • Must have a current CPR certification (company will certify or Recertify)
