IT Project Manager

We specialize in building custom solutions, from advanced web applications to scalable data platforms and analytical systems.</p><p>Due to our growing portfolio of Data & Analytics projects, we are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to manage complex technology implementations. You will be the key person responsible for leading projects from the requirements analysis phase, through development, to production deployment, ensuring that we deliver real, data-driven business value to our clients.</p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Lead end-to-end technology projects: From analytical workshops with the client, through architecture and schedule planning, to overseeing implementation and deployment.</p></li><li><p>Manage the Project Team: Work closely with our data engineers, data analysts, and backend developers to ensure an efficient workflow and high technical quality of solutions.</p></li><li><p>Oversee the delivery of Data & Analytics projects: Coordinate tasks related to the implementation of data platforms (including those based on Databricks), building ETL/ELT pipelines, and creating analytical systems.</p></li><li><p>Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact and technical advisor, building a partnership based on trust and transparent communication.</p></li><li><p>Translate Business Needs into Technology: Effectively translate client business requirements (e.g., regarding reporting, data analysis) into specific tasks for the engineering team.</p></li><li><p>Manage Scope and Risk: Proactively identify technical and project risks, manage changes, and ensure project goals are met within the agreed-upon budget and timeline.</p></li><li><p>Process Building: "Develop and document repeatable delivery processes, templates, and playbooks to support company scaling"</p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><p>A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT project management within IT professional services or consulting environment particularly in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or data-intensive software development.</p></li><li><p>Must have managed at least 3 full project lifecycles from presales scoping through production deployment."</p></li><li><p>Proven experience leading projects in close collaboration with technical teams.</p></li><li><p>Excellent knowledge and practical application of Agile methodologies (Scrum).</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with project management tools, especially Jira and Confluence or equivalent.</p></li><li><p>Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Fluent English (C1 level or higher), essential for working with international clients.</p></li><li><p>Overlap with US based customers</p></li></ul><p><strong>Your Key Skills:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Technical Acumen: The ability to lead meaningful discussions on topics related to system architecture, data processing, and integrations.</p></li><li><p>Solution-Oriented Mindset: A proactive approach to solving technical and organizational challenges.</p></li><li><p>Strong Sense of Ownership: Treating each project as your own and striving to deliver a reliable, scalable product.</p></li><li><p>Commercial Awareness: Understands project economics (margin, utilization, scope creep impact)</p></li><li><p>Proactive Communication: Escalates blockers with recommended solutions, not just status updates</p></li><li><p>Highly Organized and Detail-Oriented: Meticulous in planning, documenting, and reporting project progress.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Hands-on experience with projects utilizing the Databricks platform or other technologies from the Big Data ecosystem (e.g., Snowflake, Spark, Airflow).</p></li><li><p>An understanding of concepts related to data engineering, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and Business Intelligence.</p></li><li><p>Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).</p></li><li><p>Industry certifications (e.g., PSM, PMP, PRINCE2) or technical certifications (e.g., in cloud or data).</p></li></ul>
