You’ll work closely with senior data engineers to process, clean, and transform large datasets, ensuring data integrity and availability for analytics and business decision-making. This position offers hands-on experience with cloud platforms, SQL databases, and ETL processes, providing a strong foundation for growth in data engineering. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and contribute to improving data workflows. As part of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to learn best practices in data modeling, automation, and performance tuning while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position will also spend some time to support our inhouse IT admin team to maintain the company's IT-hardware/software.</p> <p> </p> <p>You will work in an entrepreneurial environment where we are constantly looking to learn what our customers need and to develop better ways to serve them. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Eligibility Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Very good command of the English language (written and verbal)</li> <li><strong>Finished</strong> university degree – in computer science or an engineering field</li> <li>Availability to work full USA hour shift (EST, CST, MST, or PST)</li> <li>At least 1-2 years of relevant private sector work experience (fulltime)  in the field of IT or data science actively using python and PowerBI</li> <li>Professional experience working with Python including common libraries like scipy, pandas, scikit-learn etc. (just python coding classes do not count)</li> <li>Must not have had any disciplinary actions regarding attendance, conduct and/or performance in the past 90 days, and must not be approaching such action.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities will include: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications for data processing, analysis, and automation.</li> <li>Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.</li> <li>Reviewing data for accuracy, completeness and consistency</li> <li>Organizing and maintaining electronic records for a company’s databases</li> <li>Analyzing data in order to identify trends and opportunities for improvement</li> <li>Assisting in creating reports and proposals to present findings to management</li> <li>Address technical issues and provide IT support to ensure smooth business operations</li> <li>Support IT management team</li> <ul> <li>Setup of  notebooks/servers</li> <li>Repair and maintenance of computer equipment</li> <li>Support the Microsoft user management</li> <li>Design and ownership of security controls and risks including logins and passwords</li> </ul> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Attributes to success:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven success in building relationships and trust</li> <li>Comfortable working in a dynamic environment</li> <li>The ability to pivot based on priority shifts</li> <li>The ability to comprehend and apply on-the-job training.
