This role owns product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a sophisticated AI and search solution, working closely with engineering, marketing, solution engineers, sales, and other key stakeholders. This position plays a critical role in shaping how enterprise customers adopt AI responsibly, particularly in regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, and government. This product is part of Hyland's Content Innovation Cloud (CIC) — the company's cloud-native foundation for unifying content, data, and processes across the enterprise.</p> <h2>Here's What You'll Do</h2> <ul> <li>Own and evolve the product roadmap as a living expression of strategy, customer value, and business outcomes; balance near-term delivery with long-term innovation in AI-powered search and decision support; connect customer problems, market trends, and business priorities into a clear product direction</li> <li>Lead continuous customer discovery through interviews, pilots, and feedback loops; validate problem statements, solution approaches, and value hypotheses using real customer evidence; translate discovery insights into roadmap decisions and measurable outcomes</li> <li>Partner closely with engineering to define requirements for AI-powered capabilities — including search, retrieval, enrichment, and agent-based workflows leveraging RAG, Graph RAG, and agentic orchestration — guiding execution from ideation through launch, iteration, and optimization</li> <li>Maintain strong awareness of the AI, enterprise search, and intelligent knowledge systems landscape; track emerging approaches across generative AI and AI-assisted decision making; apply competitive insights to influence roadmap, differentiation, and positioning</li> <li>Partner with Marketing, Solution Engineers, and Sales to articulate clear product value and differentiation; support enablement materials, demos, release narratives, and customer-facing content; translate technical progress into outcome-focused messaging for internal and external audiences</li> <li>Serve as a trusted product voice across engineering, marketing, solution engineering, sales, and leadership; influence decisions through clarity, credibility, and data-driven reasoning; shape thought leadership and mentor and collaborate with peers and cross-functional partners</li> </ul> <h2>Technology Tools</h2> <ul> <li>Generative AI</li> <li>Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)</li> <li>Graph RAG</li> <li>Agentic Orchestration</li> </ul> <h2>Role Essentials</h2> <ul> <li>5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager owning complex technology products, with strong understanding of enterprise software and full product lifecycle management</li> <li>Ability to collaborate deeply with engineering teams, reason about technical tradeoffs, and maintain delivery momentum while anticipating dependencies and risks</li> <li>Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and lead problem discovery through direct customer engagement</li> <li>Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex technology into clear business value</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think beyond feature delivery to product value, including positioning, pricing, and business impact</li> </ul> <h2>What We'd Like to See</h2> <ul> <li>Experience with AI-powered products, enterprise search, or data-driven platforms</li> <li>Familiarity with Generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, or intelligent content systems</li> <li>Experience building products for regulated or security-sensitive environments such as healthcare, insurance, or government</li> <li>Exposure to AI evaluation, feedback loops, or learning systems that improve over time</li> <li>Experience supporting sales enablement, demos, or customer-facing engagements</li> </ul> <h2>Pay Transparency</h2> <p>The salary range for this role is <strong>$155,000 – $175,000</strong>. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate at the time of posting. The listed range may be adjusted in the future based on business needs.
