<p>Description</p><p>The Logistics & Inventory Specialist is responsible for coordinating logistics, transportation, and inventory management activities supporting large-scale, mission-critical data center infrastructure projects. This role manages the movement and tracking of high-value electrical and power equipment including UPS systems, PDUs, switchboards, and related infrastructure requiring specialized handling and transportation.</p><p><br></p><p>This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate inventory visibility, on-time delivery, and seamless material flow across suppliers, warehouses, manufacturing sites, and deployment locations. The Logistics & Inventory Specialist works cross-functionally with Operations, Service, Manufacturing, and external logistics partners to support scalable execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Plan and coordinate end-to-end logistics for oversized, high-value data center infrastructure and assemblies</li><li>Manage carrier selection, routing, scheduling, shipment tracking, and transportation execution</li><li>Coordinate with specialized carriers, rigging teams, and heavy haul providers for delivery and placement of mission-critical equipment</li><li>Manage inventory visibility and material flow across multiple sites, suppliers, warehouses, and manufacturing partners</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory records and traceability within ERP systems</li><li>Monitor inventory levels, material availability, and logistics performance to support manufacturing and deployment schedules</li><li>Identify and mitigate transportation or material availability risks that could impact project timelines</li><li>Serve as a primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and external logistics partners</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, permits, and safety requirements for specialized shipments</li><li>Support cost optimization efforts through carrier management and logistics coordination</li><li>Coordinate staging, sequencing, and delivery schedules to align with installation requirements</li><li>Track and report logistics and inventory metrics including on-time delivery and inventory accuracy</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally to support operational readiness and deployment execution</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics, inventory management, and material flow processes</li></ul><p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinating transportation and delivery schedules for large-scale electrical infrastructure equipment</li><li>Tracking inventory movement and material availability across multiple sites</li><li>Communicating with carriers, warehouses, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure delivery alignment</li><li>Managing ERP inventory transactions and maintaining accurate inventory records</li><li>Monitoring shipment status, resolving transportation issues, and mitigating delays</li><li>Supporting logistics planning for production, staging, and deployment activities</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field</li><li>5+ years of experience in logistics and inventory management within data center, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure environments</li><li>Experience managing oversized, high-value equipment logistics and transportation coordination</li><li>Familiarity with data center infrastructure equipment such as UPS systems, PDUs, switchboards, or related electrical systems</li><li>Experience with ERP systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and inventory tracking processes</li><li>Strong understanding of inventory control, material flow, and multi-site coordination</li><li>Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred</strong></p><ul><li>Experience supporting logistics for manufacturing and field service operations</li><li>Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)</li><li>Knowledge of transportation permitting and specialized shipment regulations</li><li>Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs compliance</li><li>Certifications such as CLTD, CSCP, or similar supply chain credentials</li></ul><p><strong>Why Hyper?</strong></p><p>Hyper Solutions is building next-generation infrastructure solutions supporting rapidly expanding data center and high-performance computing environments. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include, but are not limited to, relevant experience, skills, certifications, and location. This hire will be eligible for a discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
