Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Manager, I would prioritize establishing clear communication channels with my staff to improve overall productivity and reduce errors that may cause delay in the warehouse processes.

As a crucial member of the Operations and Sales Center Team, the Warehouse Manager is accountable for the everyday operations of the Warehouse, Equipment Service, and Fleet areas. Building on Company policies, this role involves making personnel decisions that pertain to matters such as hiring, compensation, promotions, discipline and termination of team members. Moreover, the Warehouse Manager manages inventory and uses statistical analysis to identify critical areas for continuous improvement.

The duties and responsibilities of this position are to ensure that the organization operates efficiently and effectively

  • The management team requires a consistent flow of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports to stay informed.
  • By accurately forecasting demand, you can order the right amount of stock, reducing the likelihood of excess inventory or stockouts.
  • Evaluate statistical data and reports to detect fields that can be improved continually.
  • Develop and implement effective budget control strategies, including regular monitoring of expenses and regular reporting on the department's financial performance.
  • Ensure that the facility practices good product rotation by overseeing all operations.

  • Monitors all the incoming and outgoing freight transportations.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree: preferred.
  • The preferable applicant should possess at least two to three years of experience in a leadership position.

Physical Demands:

  • One will be required to maintain a seated position for extended periods while at work in an office, and they may have to use a computer terminal for long periods.
  • Tasks related to this job necessitate moving around, conversing with others, and having good auditory perception of sounds. Hands-on experience is also integral to the work.
  • This position necessitates the capacity to repetitively move heavy items weighing 50 pounds or more, extend your arms above your head, and maintain a standing posture for extended periods. Kneeling, bending, and stretching are all essential aspects of the job as well.
