We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary

Oversees and manage the Project Construction Controls processes, risk assessments, commercial strategies, and financial analysis for the companies large construction projects. Leads team to develop meaningful analytics, department-wide commercial strategies, and manage key vendor relationships. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of project controls and construction management principles.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project controls or a similar role.
  • Provide leadership on multiple concurrent projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the Project Construction organization.
  • Develop and implement project control plans, including scheduling, contractual, cost control, and risk management.
  • Monitors project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations from the plan.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Manage and mentor a team of project control professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Analyze project data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain the standard methodology, templates, and tools for critical business processes within Project Construction.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of financial analysis methodologies to support assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Manage the provision of financial services, including financial planning, budgeting, and financial analysis to business areas.
  • Develop and communicate business cases to support recommendations and monitor the progress associated with the implementation of recommended changes.
  • Manage key vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Develop and implement department-wide commercial strategies to support business objectives.
Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstarted related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of eduction:
  • Bachelors
  • Masters

Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description
  • Professional certification in project management or construction management (e.g., PMP, CCM, CPA).
  • Experience with large-scale construction projects.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
