In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cross-vendor data through systematic quality checks, data pipelines, and exploring new data opportunities, all while ensuring the highest standards of accuracy for our platform.</p><p>We need a high-ownership professional who is deeply inquisitive and learns fast enough to master our complex back-end systems. You must be highly familiar with corporate actions (dividends, splits, earnings, etc.) and their impact on market data. If you have extensive financial data experience, love driving projects independently with minimal handholding, and thrive on optimizing data infrastructure, we want to hear from you.</p> <br><h3>What You'll Do</h3> <ul><li><strong>Data QA Methodology: </strong>Drive Quality Assurance testing for market data tasks. Set the gold standard in QA processes and methodology, moving far beyond a "box-checking" approach to ensure absolute data integrity.</li><li><strong>Advanced Data Support:</strong> Provide white-glove service for complex support data escalations. Handle financial data inquiries ranging from basic stock chart investigations to complex cases involving detailed questions around historical fundamental data statements and financial metrics/ratios.</li><li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</strong> Partner with Product Management and engineering teams using JIRA to track, prioritize, and independently solve a significant number of outstanding data errors, driving cases and projects to efficient conclusions.</li></ul> <br><h3>Requirements</h3> <ul><li>5-7 years of working experience within the financial industry, with a focus on Equities data including Fundamentals, Estimates, Market Data, etc.</li><li>Highly experienced in designing and developing QA processes for financial data.</li><li>General exposure and interest in quantitative and systematic financial modeling.</li><li>Technical ability to work with Data Feed and API products, including working SQL query knowledge and data transformation scripting in Python is a plus.</li><li>Experience with one of the major financial data vendors, either as an employee or a client (S&P, Factset, Bloomberg, etc.).</li><li>General understanding of Product Management principles and processes, and experience as a detailed and highly organized JIRA user.</li><li>Ability to understand Big Picture Strategy while still being able to deliver on very detail-oriented and potentially complex data quality tasks.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset – you love to give good service to our internal and external customers.</li><li>Able to prioritize and solve a significant number of outstanding data errors independently and drive cases and projects to conclusions efficiently across teams.</li><li>Fluent English - a must.</li></ul><p><strong>Working Terms</strong></p><ul><li>Location: Remote work from India.</li><li>Hours: Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM IST.</li></ul>
