As we expand our footprint — including a major launch in Ohio in 2027 — we are building the team to match our ambition.</p> <hr> <p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p>Vanna Health is seeking a dynamic and versatile Marketing & Growth Senior Manager to serve as a critical link between our brand strategy, business development efforts, and external visibility. This person will partner closely with our CEO and PR agency to execute a proactive conference and events strategy, amplify our presence in the behavioral health market, and drive engagement with our core audience: Medicaid health plans and managed care organizations.</p> <p> </p> <p>This role is ideal for a mid-to-senior marketing professional who thrives in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment and is equally comfortable crafting compelling communications, staffing a conference booth, and developing strategic outreach campaigns. You are a roll-up-your-sleeves operator who can think big and execute with excellence.</p> <hr> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Conference & Events Execution</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own end-to-end planning and execution for Vanna Health's presence at behavioral health, Medicaid, and digital health conferences — from securing speaking slots and managing booth logistics to coordinating travel and staffing.</li> <li>Serve as an on-the-ground representative at key industry events, actively networking with health plan executives, payers, and clinicians on behalf of the company.</li> <li>Evaluate and recommend conference participation on a tiered basis (sponsor, speak, attend), building a proactive annual conference calendar aligned to Vanna Health's strategic priorities and geographic expansion.</li> <li>Coordinate booth design, materials, branding collateral, and pre/post-event outreach in partnership with external designers and the PR team.</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Business Development Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Identify and pursue earned speaking and visibility opportunities at payer-focused events and behavioral health forums, with a particular focus on Medicaid managed care organizations.</li> <li>Support outreach and relationship-building with health plans, payers, and managed care prospects in partnership with senior leadership.</li> <li>Track attendee engagement, scan conference leads, and manage follow-up workflows to support the business development pipeline.</li> <li>Coordinate with leadership on BD messaging, presentations, and external communications as the company enters new state markets.</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Marketing & Communications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and manage content for LinkedIn and other channels, including post-event coverage, thought leadership, speaker announcements, and brand updates.</li> <li>Support payer and member communications — including review and refinement of email language, text messaging copy, and engagement materials — in partnership with payers, MCOs, and internal stakeholders.</li> <li>Assist in preparing talking points, panel prep materials, and conference speaker briefings for the executive team.</li> <li>Collaborate with the PR agency on strategy, keeping campaigns on track, and surfacing earned media opportunities — especially around major announcements such as funding rounds or market expansions.</li> <li>Lead and support member enrollment outreach initiatives, developing and refining multichannel engagement strategies that reach Medicaid members where they are. This includes coordinating communications across text messaging, email, print mail, and phone outreach — ensuring messaging is clear, culturally appropriate, and optimized to drive enrollment and ongoing engagement. Partner with health plan stakeholders and internal teams to review and improve communication materials across all channels.</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Strategy & Planning</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build and maintain a comprehensive conference and marketing calendar with budget tracking, covering fall 2026 through 2027.</li> <li>Research conference audiences, attendee profiles, and payer participation to advise on ROI and prioritization — filtering opportunities through the lens of Medicaid plan engagement.</li> <li>Develop budget recommendations for conference sponsorships, booth buildouts, T&E, and promotional materials.</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with the COO and other internal stakeholders to ensure team members are appropriately deployed to events.</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Required</strong></p> <ul> <li>5–8 years of experience in marketing, field marketing, growth, or a related discipline, ideally in healthcare, digital health, or a mission-driven company.</li> <li>Proven track record managing conference and events strategy — including booth coordination, speaker preparation, and post-event follow-through.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting and refining external-facing materials for corporate and payer audiences.</li> <li>Comfortable representing the organization externally, working the room at industry events, and engaging confidently with senior health plan executives.</li> <li>Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a lean team environment.</li> <li>Willingness to travel to industry conferences and events as needed.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Preferred</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in behavioral health, Medicaid, or managed care marketing.</li> <li>Background in field marketing or product marketing with a growth orientation.</li> <li>Familiarity with payer communications, health plan partnerships, or member engagement messaging.</li> <li>Experience working alongside or coordinating with external PR agencies.</li> <li>Prior startup or early-stage company experience where adaptability and versatility were essential.</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></p> <p>Vanna Health offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.
