Marketing Campaign Specialist Job Details | Lidl

Summary

The Specialist, Campaigns & Platforms supports the Manager in the close coordination, synchronization, and execution of campaigns as part of the annual planning process. This role is responsible for assisting in the implementation, localization, and enrichment of International campaigns across all local channels, in collaboration with local teams. The Specialist also supports the development and implementation of local national platforms, campaigns, and projects, aids in the optimization of the campaign process, and helps to monitor and coordinate campaign aspects across all channels to ensure omni-channel implementation. Furthermore, the role assists with project management for local store marketing, including new and remodeled store openings, and supports the adaptation of International campaigns in the store.

What You’ll Do

Essential Functions

  • Implement and manage assigned programs, processes and initiatives through effective delegation and collaboration with stakeholders

  • Analyze and evaluate current processes and projects for recommended optimization

  • Provide creative input to design teams and maintain strong working relationships across internal departments

  • Manage project documentation

  • Clear communication of business and departmental strategy

  • Conduct market research and monitor competitive in-store reactions to help inform future local marketing tactics.

What You’ll Need

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Excellent with standard office software, specifically the Google Suite.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to provide actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple weekly priorities alongside ad-hoc tasks while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Foundational project management skills, including the ability to track timelines and follow through on multi-step deliverables.
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and the ability to present creative direction or ideas clearly to the creative team.
  • A team-player mentality with the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience leading end-to-end campaigns from research and strategy to execution across owned and paid channels.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets (data tracking/analysis/formatting/organization/formulas) and Google Slides (presentations)

Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, economics or communication
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field
  • In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above

Physical Job Requirements
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time
  • Ability to maneuver cases of product (lift, move, carry, slide, etc.) up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to identify and distinguish between colors more than half the time

Travel Requirements

  • This position commutes between stores, regional offices and/or distribution centers less than 25% of the time
