TruePoint uses an alternative work schedule (AWS) instead of a fixed work schedule. Your schedule can include a mix of daytime, nights, weekends, and holidays during times of crisis. For this role, you must be able to work 1-2 weekday mornings from 5:30 am-7:30 am (CT). <br> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong> </p> <ul><li><strong>Insightful Reporting:</strong> Deliver comprehensive executive reports for senior leadership, including summaries of key stories, industry trends, and potential reputational risks or opportunities. </li></ul> <ul><li><strong>Proactive Media Monitoring:</strong> Utilize platforms like Cision, Critical Mention, and NewsWhip to track and analyze media channels, staying attuned to industry trends and client-relevant conversations. </li></ul> <ul><li><strong>Real-Time Updates:</strong> Identify and alert clients to breaking news, emerging issues, and critical conversations, providing timely, strategic recommendations. </li></ul> <ul><li><strong>Sentiment Analysis:</strong> Assess tone, sentiment, and engagement around brand-related stories, providing insights on impact and actionable recommendations. </li></ul> <ul><li><strong>Collaborative Support:</strong> Partner with internal account teams to ensure insights align with client objectives and contribute to agency initiatives as needed. </li></ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Bring: </strong></p> <ul><li>Expertise in media monitoring tools and a passion for staying informed about the latest trends. </li><li>Strong analytical and communication skills to distill complex information into clear, impactful reports. </li><li>A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate issues and provide strategic recommendations in real time. </li><li>Flexibility to manage ad-hoc requests and deliver timely updates on high-priority matters. </li></ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong> </p> <ul><li>1-4 years of experience in media monitoring, social listening, or PR is highly preferred. Strong preference will be given to candidates with agency experience or experience at a monitoring platform. </li><li>Command expertise and experience in media monitoring and social listening tools, such as CISION, Meltwater, Critical Mention, NewsWhip and Sprinklr. </li><li>Possess an analytical mindset and the ability to interpret data and trends to provide actionable insights. </li><li>Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. </li><li>Be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Demonstrate a commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering time-sensitive alerts and reports.
